Interesting Quote

"All of life is a dream. We are a walking mirror. God is a mirror --- everything that we think, feel or believe is reflected back to us through this great mirror that is life. The world does not create what we are experiencing; we do." (Don Jose Luis)

Any thoughts? What do you make of this?

It reminds me of your Watts quote about God playing hide and seek with himself. I'm not sure whether this quote or the other is true, but they fall under the general category "stories of explanation that I like to tell myself, that my experience says are also plausibly true".

The implication here, logically, is that it's all mirrors. I've heard that before, too. So where's the source that's being reflected, refracted, distorted? Might well be me...which is but a reflection/refraction/distortion of you. (And everybody else.)

Actually, that's pretty damn cool. Where'd you find it?

"There is no greater mystery than this, that we keep seeking reality though in fact we are reality. We think that there is something hiding reality and that this must be destroyed before reality is gained. How ridiculous! A day will dawn when you will laugh at all your past efforts. That which will be the day you laugh is also here and now."

"You are all Buddhas! There is nothing you need to achieve. Just open your eyes."
