Hey, I guess I'll take it as long as I can get it
Last night my band played at a Community Center along with two other bands - which meant it was an all ages show, so there were about 130 high school kids there.
A girl asked me what school I go to.
(pause)
Kind of reminds me of when Amy and I were house shopping and we had set up an appointment to see a house. And granted, I was wearing a Gap Tshirt and a pair of jeans - but I arrived before Amy got there and the guy at the door asked me when my mom was going to show up.
Yeah, I have a two year old kid and am approaching my 5 year wedding anniversary. I suppose I should be flattered - I've been out of high school for 10 years. Ok, maybe 9 years.

You lucky dog! No one asks me that anymore!
When my sister and I go out for a drink together, I routinely get carded. She does not. I am two years older than she is.
But, um, I'm actually 27 and will be 28 next month. Unlike you. Ha.
:)
Good one-
You've been blessed with a youthful face and attitude which disquises the old-soul you. Perhaps it is an attribute to use for reaching young people- to impart a lesson on looking beyond book covers to what's in the heart.
Yes, take it and use it while you can...knowing time will never diminish the youthful smile radiating from the heart- center.
Wow, usually such memory lapses don't happen till you reach my age, which I believe is 44.
