My-Space.... really.

These are (grainy) pictures of my office at work. I'm just proud of my little room and since the church told me I could paint and decorate however I wanted, I've taken some time to really lay it out in a way that makes me want to be there. It's been set up like this for about 3 years, but I still appreciate and enjoy it.

Those were all pictures with the (blech) florescent lights on, but most of the time the candles are lit, the desk lamp is on and the music is streaming out...

Are you always that neat?
I'm feeling really inferior, now!

Seriously, that's a cool little place. Far cry from my cubicle.

No need to feel inferior, Jon!

Thanks... and yes, I do try to keep an uncluttered space. I work better in that environment. Everyone calls it my Zen Office because I refuse to let it get out of shape. But... that's nothing at all to brag about, I just enjoy working in a clean area. Keeps my mind less cluttered.

Yay for you! What is that compartmented tray on your desk? I'm intrigued by it.

Who knew you worked at a church (surely not I!)

Makes me want to post pictures of my own desk/office - it's a studio apartment and there are two of us in the firm. But not nearly so neat or well-decorated. Maybe I'll paint my apartment-bedroom this weekend...

Great space. I'm hoping they let my wife do that (or her own version thereof) at her new church.

My office at home now has pale lime green walls from the previous owners, and is currently home to a play mat, baby seat...you get the idea. But I have great plans for it. I completely agree about the uncluttered space/uncluttered mind thing.

Clean space...like the candles. I'm just getting my office in Savannah about up to where I want. I have no windows so I'm haveing two "windows" made for me with backgrounds that I can change out....a little imagination!

Picked out two floating shelves just the other day to rest some candles and figurine avatars on...it's amazing the tastes we share, Trev. L desk, colors, candles... I'll post some pics later when I'm finished.

I, too like a neat, clean space...only reflecting my taste...reminding me to try and keep my mind less cluttered as well. If you're gonna have a space, it might as well reflect your tatstes.

It's all good!

Wow, Trevor you are an AMAZING decorator! The colors, the nicely matched chair, the crates and candles...I would love for you to decorate MY office -- what can you do with pannelling?

For what its worth everybody, I did not decorate on my own. My wife helped pick out nearly everything in there. She's great at that knowing how to put things together...

Julie---that compartmented tray on my desk is a VERY heavy tea-light candle holder. Its really cool and unique. Get any painting done?? :-)

Andrew--- I do get the idea...one's home changes significantly after Baby Uno.

Tommy---- it IS all good. Would love to see your office...in pics but certainly in person... as soon as you get things set up.

Becca---talk to Amy... she'll help ya through it.... she loves doing that stuff.
