Authentic Transformation

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

"Authentic transformation is not a matter of belief but of the death of the believer; not a matter of translating the world but of transforming the world; not a matter of finding solace but of finding infinity on the other side of death. The self is not made content; the self is made toast."

[Ken Wilber]

I posed a question on my blog regarding different perceptions on death and dying.

I guess no one fully knows... until one is 'transformed.' We can talk about death, transformation and dying till the cows come home- but it is essentially through (experiencing).....that one knows...and one becomes 'toast' (I like how Ken puts it!)

even through the transformation of one's own life, transformation has taken place in the world; indeed, in the universe. what we can do is begin inwardly - with that, the outer effects of our "cosmically good" changes will make an impact on all other "things" ("things" representing people, animals, objects, places, planets, galaxies - the atomic structure of the entire system is affected by every action).

Great point Kev...great point. Yes, you are so right on here.

And I would add...."Be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds"
Romans 12:2
