Pan's Labyrinth

I finally saw Pan's Labyrinth (or more appropriately translated, The Labyrinth of the Faun) this weekend. A fantastic, yet grim and gruesome fairy tale for adults. If you're squeamish at all about violence, don't see this. But if you can stand it, this is a enchanted magical tale. For really well written reviews from fellow bloggers...

yes, but who's seen Pirates?!?! 8-)

check out my blog for a photo of a Peruvian Hairless Dog I encountered over the weekend. Truly, it was *so cool*.

I am more than a little squeamish about violence, so I guess it's not in the cards for me...

What in the movie struck a chord with you?

Love the way you presented the links to our opposing reviews!

(And glad you liked it!)

Well, definitely everything that Jon lays out in his review (which I linked to) ... he says it way better than I ever could. Go, Jon.

I too am glad you posted links to both reviews (Jon's and mine). I hated the movie, but I think Jon made some really good points in his review. This is a great example of how friends can disagree strongly but amicably.
