earworm

from urbandictionary.com

earworm (n.): Song that is stuck in your head.

I am currently obsessively, unhealthily addicted to the Gorillaz song "Feel Good, Inc." I can't get it out of my head, I have to listen to it a few times a day. It's extraordinarily creative (for a radio hit) and catchy to the point where I'm going insane. God, make it stop. (click on the link above to watch the video... it's equally as creative)

What about you? Got a recent earworm?

Love your tunes, Trev. A lot. Nice changes and blends. You laying down all the tracks?

Cool video! I'm not a big rap fan, but in this song the rap is in such small bites it doesn't bug me. (I'm an old Deadhead; the last earworm I had was their song, "I Need a Miracle.") One recent song I love that incorporates rap is "Demons" by the Blind Boys of Alabama:

All of my demons have withered away
Ecstacy comes and they cannot stay

Mark - Thanks. I'm going into the studio and recording 4 tracks professionally. The only two that I'm re-doing of the songs on this page are "Parachute" and "When I Die." I'm also recording my songs "The Air Up There" and "Our Little Secret." Thanks for your encouragement. Glad you enjoy.

Rick and Darrell - Thanks! I'll check out both of your songs... (like I need another earworm!) ;)

My last earworm: Dragostea din Tea, better-known as "Maya Hee."

And I have YOU to thank for that, Trevito!

Damn, thanks Jon. I had officially forgotten that song and now it's ringing around in my head again.
