"Spiritual" blogging...

... is inspirational encouragement - a way to share your life and reflections as a gift to others, those who read your words.

But there is virtually no substitute for actual practice and experience. Religion as we know it has far too long made spirituality a masculine, heady proposition - and blogging, too, lives in that realm.

Bring the attention out of the head, down into the body, live as a gift to others, and see if that doesn't make all the difference.

What makes you bring this up?

Not that I disagree!

I've often wondered if being an intellectual is a hindrance to being on the path. I can't say if it's more or less difficult than being a non-intellectual, but it certainly has its unique challenges.

We tend to identify with our minds, and think that our thoughts define us. And that is mental.

That is mental! :)

What makes me bring this up? Only that I have a tendency to live in the mental realm and this was just a kick in the pants to stop thinking about spirituality and start living it. That's all!
