TV for Toddlers who take Acid

Holy crap.

Nickelodeon has introduced a new show called Yo! Gabba Gabba and I must say again: "holy crap."

Take 80's rap beats and video game references, a bunch of colorful and creepy puppet-people, celebrity cameos (see the 2nd clip), an emcee named DJ Lance and put it all at an ADD-inducing editing speed and you've got Yo! Gabba Gabba.

I can only imagine how absolutely hilarious this show would be under the influence of any number of substances. Actually, I'm glad my kid likes it because I get a chance to watch it guilt-free... and it's totally cracking me up.

Glory Days of Mind Wasting

Had a few minutes last night and decided to look up some TV shows of ages past. A couple of these I haven't seen for AGES and it gives me crazy nostalgic feelings to see them again. Crescent fresh!

Honesty on TV

Thanks to Renegade Buddha's post on the same topic, I spent a few minutes this morning watching this amazingly honest, transparent and compassionate clip from the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

It is a rare moment in television when a man has the guts to step off the media train and speak from his heart about injustice and vulnerability.

It's a bit lengthy and (maybe due to high traffic) seems to take a while to load, but it's definitely something to watch.

Death By Black Hole

I caught this interview on TV yesterday at my lunch break and just thought it was wildly entertaining. I'm not sure if it's the subject matter, or the interaction between the two guys, or what... but it's a fascinating subject and a fun watch! (runs 6 min, 43 sec with one of the funniest comebacks Jon has ever said at the 6:22 mark)
